Motivation and Stress

Motivation is the reason for people’s behaviour. An individual can not be motivated by another individual. Motivation comes from within. To ask someone what is their motivation is the same as asking them what is the purpose for their behaviour.

In this video I’ll explore the notion that Motivation is the link between you wanting to do something, and actually doing it.

Hello, I’m The Stress Master,

My name is Ches Moulton.

It was Tuesday morning just before lunch, the second day in the boardroom of the three-day marathon. The company had asked me to assist them with their massive rehiring programme.

On this particular day, we had already worked our way through five applicants for various positions. About 45 minutes earlier, I started to lose the will to live.

The next applicant entered the room was greeted warmly and promptly seated. The usual opening questions were offered. The candidate answered with some knowledge of the duties and exhibited a bit of confidence once he realised he was on the correct path.

Then he said something I had heard each applicant say, so I spoke.

You said something  I find curious. You said “I’ll do my best”. In fact I expect you’ll do your best. But…here’s my question, Is you’re best going to be good enough? That’s what we’re seeking to discover in all of this. Is you’re best going to be good enough?

So… my question to you…Is your best good enough? If so, why and how? If not, why not? Yes, I get that we have varying levels of output on a daily basis. But…what motivates you each day to give your best, whatever that is for you? What gets you up and what keeps you up. What is your motivation, and why?

If you’d like to discuss how I can help you get motivated faster, stay motivated longer and lower your stress level contact me today and arrange a discovery session.
